Anomalous Footprints
"Books on Atlantis, lost civilisations, creationism and tomes on the ancient astronauts theory seem to contain a multitude of cases where human footprints have been found in solid rock of geological ages long past. These fossils, if shown to be authentic, would argue for an age of man far surpassing anything assumed by orthodox science. They would be definite proof also for the theory of initial bipedalism.
However, a closer examination reveals that the multitude of cases is soon reduced to only a few reports, which have been quoted ad nauseam by the authors. The same few cases have been retold again and again, and everybody appears to quote just about every author in the field of speculative archaeology."
